Re: Kenda k778 tire ?
Needing a back tire for my KLX400. Been pleased with the Pirelli MT21 for years. Now I'm thinking of trying something different - does anyone have experience with the Pirelli XCMH? It's supposed based on the popular MT16 but is DOT approved. Just from my own experience....I tried a Kenda Trackmaster II a couple years ago. Major squirrely tire on pavement, unpredicable on mud and rocks. If someone knows of a good CHEAP off road tire I would consider since I do limited pavement now days.

Been there, done that: Husqvarna TE450, KTM 400EXC, TS400, TM250, XL250R, DR350, DR650, Weestrom, and 500 Interceptor.

Didn't mean to mine your topic....I also looked at the Kenda 778 because it was a more aggressive DOT tire. Then noticed the price ($79), the Pirelli MT21 is $65. I then found the Pirelli XCMH which is aggressive like the Kenda but in the $63 range.
