Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

possum creek trail

Post by david h »

I/we have been there, but I can't remember it. It goes south out of Patrick Ar. till it ends up on top sort of by White rock Mt. When we did it a couple of years ago we went down and to the north. We have the route from Troys info, so I just need your thoughts.

Here is the question----

Do you think a Dr650 with 50-50 tires can go up it? assuming the rider is average to advanced?

Hope some of you will remember better than me, David H

Know the rd well, and I already posted about it in response to Mac's Hillbilly Dualsport post...but...yeah a DR650 with 50/50 tires and a good rider could go up it. Sections would be an enjoyable challenge. I've actually never ridden it uphill--always down, and I know from going down that it's darn steep in sections. Tracy and I rode down it last fall and met a regular looking 4WD truck coming up.

If the water is running high, it could be challenging along the bottom where it runs in and out of the creek.

Btw, David, it's been a long time since we've ridden together! I kind of miss you laughing at me as I roll around on the ground in pain.
