Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

KS Deer Hunters wanted

Post by ajayhawkfan »

I have some property in Linn County, KS near Blue Mound. It has way to many does. I'm looking for a number of responsible hunters that would be interested in shooting does during the extended antlerless season in January. This would also be a good chance to take kids for their first deer.

The hunt would be the evening of the 6th of January through the 8th for anlerless deer only.

I have limited room in my cabin however I do have a barn with a wood burning stove (and four cots) and plenty of ground for camping.

I will be there but not hunting. I don't care that much for deer meat.

Please drop me an email if interested. ajayhawkfan at yahoo dot com

Eddie, I mentioned this to my former work partner who lives in Tongie. He and his son might be up for this, and I'll mention the issues you've had with trespassers.
That's a beautiful piece of land and I appreciate you showing me around. :D

You could come down for dinner even if you don't hunt.

I have a few hunters lined up and can use a few more.

I do have lots of deer and plenty of room to hunt safely.

The cabin is full but there is room in the barn (I have 4 cots but there is lots of room) that has a Franklin stove that will knock the chill but not heat the building. There is also plenty of room to camp.

Even if you don't want to hunt but want to do a little winter camping think about coming on down. I think it will be a good time.

The cabin is full but there is lots of room for camping or in the barn (it had a wood burning stove).

I have 5 hunters. I have room for more and still be very safe.

If you want to come down to camp and not hunt, come on down!!

Hi All,

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, I know I did.

I still have room if anyone is interested to come and hunt and or camp. It should be a good time.

I have plenty of room for more hunters.

The cabin is full however there is room in the barn (Morton Building with wood burning stove but will still need good sleeping bags)

The address of my place is 8951 Botkin Road, Blue Mound, KS 66010. However there is NO NUMBER OF THE GATE. On the gate is a carved rock with "MCLINEY" on it. My gate is on the EAST side of Botkin Road, halfway between 800 and 900 road. This map shows the gate a little to far north. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=8951+botk ... 0&t=m&z=15

Please come anytime after 2:00 on Friday, January 6th.

I will have a pot of chilli on the stove for everyone Friday night.

If interested please let me know.

Eddie

Hunters: you will need to provide your own stand. A 5 gallon bucket is all you really will need.
