So I was wondering if anyone knows of a MC, or group, that meets monthly or so that caters to "our kind"(dual sport riders) specifically? I really want to meet more riders but I am always a bit nervous to just go join on a ride where I have never met any of the guys. I have had a few times where that ends in me chasing a small group of guys, trying to keep up, at high speeds (triple digits) though KC. I am a bit older and, I like to think despite my wife's claims, a bit wiser. So I am looking for a group that is out for fun and that wants to make sure everyone makes it home in one piece, without having to post bail first
. My brother and I had even had the brief thought to go ahead and start a Leavenworth MC since we couldn't find one. I don't feel that I possess the necessary level of charisma and magnetic personality to really get one going though. So, thoughts or ideas anyone?
