New to the world on 7-5-11 and new to me today!

Below is all of the extras the "racing" kit comes with. Same price as a 300xcw out the door with a LOT more. And i dont mean just what you see on the floor. This bike is loaded with goodies and from what little ive done so far, its well designed too. Getting the air filter out is sooooooo easy! No more fumbling with that flyswatter handle on the pumpkin! I dont have the time to list it all right now, nor do i probably even know it, so when we ride in November its on!

Very nice.... There's an old addage in aviation that says "...if it looks good, it will fly good." I think that truly applies here. Looking forward to a ride report..........

You may want to keep these two apart in the trailer on the way to Chadwick, they might not get along. "Mr Orange" may just have his way with the new Spanish harlot. LOL!! Sorry I just couldn't resist. No really, nice bike. I've heard good things about them. Is it leaking coolant in the 1st pic?

Thats too funny! Wonder what kind of bastard child that would make! Yes, it is leaking coolant in that pic. If you look close at the second pic(lh side of bike) there is a little rubber hose hanging down right in front of the engine side cover. That hose is connected to the cylinder and was ziptied shut at the bottom? It ran like crap and puked coolant with just the short ride around the house(no pegs on it). When i cut the ziptie off and got the pegs on it was off for a ride!

Ty and i rode up to our neighbors where there a couple easy trails and a couple steep but short hills. My first impression of the bike came while crossing a freshly plowed field with new terraces. It has been almost two months since ive been on a 2stroke and boy does this thing feel light! Its also very narrow at the knees. I do need to get my flexx bars on, that rough field killed my wrists.

Once to the trails it was a completely different bike from what ive ridden. I had read on GG forums that these bikes turn in easy, thats an under statement. It felt like i had to put my foot down on corners it turned so fast. Im wondering if, when i get my damper and bars put on, that will slow up some. I need to play with the clickers on the legs, its way too soft for my fat a$$.

It seems to pull very hard. I feel like it pulls harder than my ol 300 but to be fair it has been a few months since i road it and she had a couple miles on her too. The GG comes with the ignition map switch so i did play with that, and man can you tell a difference. With the switch to ''hot'' it just lifts the wheel at any throttle opening, but switch it to "rain" and feels more like my old 300-like a big ol tractor.

So thats a prelim ride report. Im going to check the plug for jetting today. I read that GG had some trouble with jetting on a few bikes and the owners didnt check them and ended up seizing up. Ive found a good GG resource on the webs here so I'll try some of their jetting settings!

I have a call into the treasures office, waiting on a reply. They do not have GG in the system at all, but she said its a matter of adding the name so they can collect the correct TAXES! Its all about the money! Plus since its new there is no VIN inspection, that should help. And im thinking since its not in the system they wont know what it is and would have no reason to forbid tagging it. We'll see.

EDIT: well, according to janelle, my property taxes will be $123 plus the costs to transfer the tag. So tomorrow or wednesday ill head over with all the necessary paperwork and hopefully make this happen!
