Well, the first issue has launched! I've not received mine yet, but they say they mailed them this week. I did get my promised T-Shirt 2 weeks ago. The first issue looks exciting.

Really late follow-up to this thread. Outrider Journal is no more. They folded after only 2 issues. I was sad about this because the 2 issues I received were BEAUTIFUL and high quality. The magazine was very professionally designed with great photos and articles. Unfortunately, it's a tough time to make money in the magazine biz...and perhaps it never will be an easy business model again.

The cool thing is, out of the blue, I received an Overland Journal in the mail. Turns out they are honoring the Outrider subscriptions and have "added eight pages to the magazine, but we are not increasing our percentage of advertising, rather we have increased our percentage of adventure motorcycling content."
