Free GPSr

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

Discover Credit Card is offering a free GPSr. http://www.mygpsoffer.com/ I know a number of geocachers who received a unit. It is not a scam.

My brother and his daughter received their free GPSr yesterday. My brother already canceled his card.

Got it! Sweet! Thanks!!

Do you think it would be OK to use this gps on my bike? Or would it get beat up rather easily and/or pop out of the mount easy? I assume a ram mount would be the way to go if the gps can handle ridin rough?

I DL some new icon's - now I can ride a dirtbike on the gps, or an suv with a Christmas tree on top, or a guy on a sled, or a minivan...
Do you know of a forum where I can get answers to specific questions on this model?
Thanks!

When I have GPSr question the first place I go is to the geocaching forum. No one know GPSr like geocaching geeks. The local forum, http://mogeo.ipbhost.com/index.php? There is a national forum but I don't go there very often, http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?

If I can't get an answer there I go to the Garmin website or call customer service (I have even stopped in at the national headquarters). I have found then extremely helpful.

Good Luck.
