I want to rent a trailer.

I want to rent a trailer to haul the XR to Eureka Springs next week. Is U-Haul my only option?

Carl, whats you location? I will have room for you if you are in south KC or somewhere that won't add lots of miles or time for me. I live in Lawrence and can swing over to 71 south if needed. I plan on leaving Thursday before the crack of dawn. But could be talked into Wed, if you want. I also have room for one in my room at the motel. Saving money is a good thing

Thanks for the offer(s). I am leaving Wed morning. The wife is bored and is coming with me or I would share a room. Live in Liberty and may be more hassle than it is worth to meet up. Worse come to worse I will drive the old Tacoma and listen to the wife's complaints about the travel accommodations.

If you have a beefy enough SUV...you can buy a hitch carrier for the price of renting a trailer and have it for future trips int hat ride.

I hitched my KLR with no issues...although make sure you have a real framed SUV to try that.

Thanks, I thought of that, but have a minivan and an 1 1/4" receiver. Probably won't cut it.
