Rulo, NE for Catfish and Pie 11/3

Post by iyeager »

Short notice, I know. I forgot that everyone on here isn't addicted to ADVrider like some of us.

It's gonna be mainly asphalt, but dirt guys could ride River road up there and just meet in town for lunch.

Here's the link to the ADV thread...

Oh man, this would be a great one to fit my Doniphan Co route into. Here is one option. You'll need probably 4 hours to make this one way, but it'a good stuff. Only part I'm unsure of is if you can actually ride the Levee Rd in the upper right part of this route.

If you've not ridden the dirt roads up in Doniphan Co, they offer a unique experience to anything else in KS.

Got some pictures up on my smugmug from the Saturday ride to Rulo.

I'm thinking maybe next weekend if the weather holds above the fifties to get bundled up, throw the TKC's on and ride Troy's route.

Right now they're saying rain and 65 for Saturday. Sounds like a good combination.
