Syracuse sand dunes, anyone ridden there?

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

It does look like fun! The open sand areas would not be so fun on a motorcycle unless you are really good and really love to be punished. (I am neither.) The entire park is to be 1300 acres and from the photos appears to have a lot of open trails. It is all just wide open desert-like riding, which for me, is not the most fun.

If I was local to the Syracuse, KS area, I'd make use of this riding area--no doubt. But being more than a 7 hour drive from the Kansas City area, there are other places I'd rather ride.

It is encouraging to see a new riding area open in times when we are losing so many great riding areas.

Ya it's a bit far, might have to try and hit it up on my next to to Colorado on the way home? Sand is not all that bad, hang towards the rear fender and give it gas.... :D
