Fall TAR Arkansas Ride

Fall Tarkansas ride is October 14-17 at Long Pool Campground:

Some of us will be camping in our tents and some in trailers. There is also the option of renting a camper trailer from rvshare.com.

Long Pool is a perfect location as we can ride directly from the campground with minimal pavement riding. They have several bathrooms and one shower house. There are about 20 sites with electricity and an unlimited number of sites without power. They don't take reservations so typically a few of us will go down on Wednesday and lay claim to a few sites.

TAR rides are an informal get together of a bunch of guys who like to ride dirt bikes on the Arkansas back trails. We don't have any organized activities or fees. Just guys that like to ride dirt bikes. Our bikes range from small two strokes to four stroke 500's. Frequently, we have a group of big bike riders who will ride bigger bike roads.

Normally we will ride our bikes right from the campground and be on trails within a couple miles. Sometimes we take a day and truck our bikes to Brock Creek riding area:
