We went to this a couple years ago and had a great time. Car shows don't do much for me anymore, but this is quite a bit different. There's sweet rides everywhere; down every side street. Anything and everything shows up.
I was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in going and displaying our bikes? It would be cool to see a bunch of dirt and dual sport bikes. You don't have to just sit there and guard your bike either. You can meander all you want. And if you want a beer you can walk around the town and have a drink as well.
Anyone interested?

Well crap, no one here has any interest in hanging out, chit chatting and BS'ing about the good ole' days and combustible engines?
Maybe we could talk about scrap booking or we could swap recipes on here? Any interest in that?

If Troy was not on vacation he could tell you all kinds of scrapbooking horror stories.
Here is one of my favorite recipes:
Crunchy French Onion Red-Tailed Hawk
• Prep 10 m
• Cook 20 m
• Ready In 30 m
• Serves 2
Recipe By: ajayhakwfan
"Awesome crunchy baked red-tailed hawk that goes good with any side dish. Quick and easy, too!"
Ingredients
• 1 1/3 cups French-fried onions, crushed
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 pound skinless, boneless red-tailed hawk breast halves (use Bald Eagle to serve 4)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Spread crushed onions in a shallow bowl. Pour beaten egg into a separate shallow bowl.
3. Dip red-tailed hawk into beaten egg, then press into crushed onions. Gently tap red-tailed hawk to let loose pieces fall away. Put breaded red-tailed hawk to a baking sheet.
4. Bake red-tailed hawk until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

Eagle is delicious! Thanks for the recipe, Eddie!
Thanks for posting this up, Savage! This sounds fun to me--better than watching TV anyway! As for displaying my bike(s), none of them are "show worthy". I barely even clean them. "Hey, look at this one--it's a scratched up, standard looking dualsport motorcycle that has not been washed in a year and is leaking oil. Lame."
I put this on my calendar and will post up later if it looks like I'll make it. Thanks!

Well to us that are around dirt bikes and dual sports all the time your filthy dirty KTM 500 is pretty lame. J/K! But to the other 95% of the population, most of them would be surprised that such a badazz dirt bike exists and that it can be legally ridden on the street. That and they could appreciate the use and abuse the bike has been through.
This "show" is different IMHO. I just hope it's not 100 degrees out.
There are just vehicles all over; not even officially entered.

It is possible that I will be in the area this Saturday and can attend. Relies on me getting over my bronchitis enough to make it out that way this weekend. I have been suffering for 13 days. Getting better.
