Letko Cycles will be having our Grand Re-Opening party on Saturday, September 28th from 9am-4pm. We will break out the grill and have burgers, dogs, and cold drinks on hand. I plan on being there as well. At the moment there is a 70% chance of thunderstorms Saturday so bombing around the woods is probably out. Sounds like fun and I want to see what the new Letko is like!

Anybody know what trials bikes they will have to ride? I assume Gas Gas because the strong local connection. Either way I hope to be in town and able to go and check it out. I really want ride a newer trials bike to see difference against my 99 Beta techno 250.
Anything with wheels is inherently dangerous. If you are concerned about your safety & well-being, I suggest walking, as a safe alternative

I don't think they have trials bike demos....they have a trials demonstration---meaning a guy showing off his trials skills. I plan to attend the open house, but my daughter is in the Overland Park Fall Festival parade at 10. So I'll head to the open house after the parade...perhaps about 11.

Thanks, Letko Cycles for a cool Open House this past Saturday plus free lunch! I drooled over the used 690 that might someday replace my F800GS. (Hmmm....a KTM 300, 450, 690 and a BMW 1200GSA.....the perfect combo?)
Letko had a sweet, used, all black 2012 Tiger 800 sitting on the floor as well. $8500 as I recall.
Thanks also to the trials demo guy! VERY impressive to watch him hop up on top of his trailer on wet ramps!
