Unless you are in the car biz, you might now know what an "auto detail" is, but it's simply a really great car cleaning that includes shampooing the interior, dressing the vinyl and tires, degreasing the engine compartment, polishing the chrome, and buffing and waxing the paint. A "complete" detail costs about $200. You can opt to just get the interior or exterior detailed, etc.
Well, I had thought about selling my old (2002) truck and figured I'd splurge on a detail to help sell it. I came to my senses (again) and decided to keep the truck. Then I thought, why not splurge on myself and enjoy that detail service?! So I got my truck detailed, and it looks and feels almost new. Seriously. The paint looks and feels great and there are no longer any stains in my interior.
I'm telling you all of this because I want to recommend Joe Person of Mr. Clean-It. He's a great guy and a talented auto detailer.

Re: Get your car detailed
You're suppose to do that after winter to douche out all the salt and shtuff.
If the person does a good job, it is money well spent IMHO.

Ahhh, pre-mix!!
Re: Get your car detailed
Had Joe detail our kid-trashed Honda Odyssey minivan. OH MY GOSH! It looks about brand new! Better than when we bought it used 2 years ago where the dealer "detailed" it. No more stains in the carpets.
