Flint Hills Stampede

The Flint Hills Stampede is now taking registrations. If you are interested sign up now because slots are limited.

The ride is based out of Eureka KS. A local church group does the cooking for dinner and for desert has home made ice cream, made on the spot. The dinner is worth the price of admission.

Camping is along the Eureka City Lake. It is free. Last year they build showers just for our group.

If you prefer a motel I recommend the Blue Stem. The owner of the Blue Stem Lodge is a ride leader for the group as well.

I will be leading an intermediate ride at the stampede this year, and welcome some KC riders in my group.

Catered dinner on Saturday night is provided by a local church group and is very very good. There will be homemade Ice cream churned on a unique antique motor powered rig that is very cool.

It is a great group and ride. Just stay away from a guy named Ken.

As of last week there were a few rooms left at the Blue Stem Motel. There is another event in town so get a room if you want one.
