When I am bored and feel like wasting valuable minutes of my life, I go to YOUTUBE
Have you seen the deer jump over the harley rider?? I heard about this from a biker friend who says it occurred up near Sturgis.

I can't access the link at work, but search YouTube for "danny macaskill". He is a bicycle trials rider. I am humbled.

I meant to get ahold of you guys, there was another Medicine Lodge Gypsum Hills ADV rally about a month ago. We had a good time, the weather was a little unsettled but I was comfy in my little trailer. Jim L of Letko rode with us and my friend Lee who has recently moved to Wichita. I'd guess about twenty of us in total.
The ADV SLAP rally is coming up soon, may 29th and 30th, White Rock Mountain, Arkansas

I wanted to ride last week but my wife scolded me and said to let my knee heal some more first. I'm feeling good enough that I think I could go out and hurt myself again. I've been riding bicycle if that counts for anything. Knee is doing really well so I think I'll be able to do the triathalon I signed up for in July. Speaking of, does anyone have or know of a good road bike (pedal type) for sale. I'm currently training on my mountain bike but want something faster for the tri. Even entry level bikes at the local bike shop are about $600 so I'm hoping someone out there got into biking and is upgrading to something more expensive and would sell me that entry level bike at a discount.

I really enjoyed that ride last year, until the end when my V-Strom fell on Tracy's KTM.
Next time I will bring the DRZ down to tackle those sandy turns and large gravel hills without puckering in the soft spot.

It's good to hear you're knee is healing...and it must be healing good if you are going to compete in a triathalon soon...you're an animal Mike! I have a co-worker who used to bike all the time. He has several MTBs and road bikes. I'll ask him if he has a roadie he wants to unload.

Safiri, my coworker, who owns thousands of dollars worth of bicycles, showed me one of those Danny MacAskill videos. Simply the most amazing stunts on a bicycle I've ever seen. Riding along the top of a metal picket fence! One of those drops he does must be 20+ feet onto concrete and he lands soft as a feather. Skeelz!
Slim, I'll ask my coworker if he knows of any entry-level deals on a street racer.
Motoracer13, that R1 is cool! Thanks for the tip. It has been strangely quiet here in the forum. I've not been doing a ton of riding. I'm commuting on my Vstrom and enjoyed a little ride down to the tiny BBQ place in Hillsdale. Actually ran into Safiri there! Small world. I enjoyed one of the best off-road rides of my life 2 weeks ago in the Mark Twain National Forest. So I'm getting a little riding in.
You been riding any, Motoracer?
Sounds like Katbeanz has plans to ride.
I spent the rest of my day cleaning and organizing my new garage. Installed shelving, etc. I've got some parts coming to pimp my Husqvarna TE450 and need to make sure my garage is ready for the little project.

Well since the Liberty Cycle thing I havent got much in. Other than the 1/2 mile back and forth from the bike shop I think Ive put maybe 25 miles on the street just running some errands. Made one dune trip a couple months ago and planning another soon. I did rebuild my front forks on the dirtbike with new valves and springs and had it out a couple times and man what a difference it made! One of the tracks I ride has a 50ish foot step-up that I shorted a couple times on prupose because I was so happy with how it turned out. I should be having a dirt day at a friends track this week and I will try to get some good pics to email ya Troy. The track we are going to has a single to table top with downside of table at about 130'. It also has a 75' gap with straight up face on the landing. My buddy thought it would be funny and painted skull and cross bones on it, now its know as the "wall of death"!
