What a stand!

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

What a stand!

Post by Hank Moody »

I saw this on the TT board and had to pass it along, it is a scissor lift stand. I hope they include a strap!

I can't imagine that this would be very stable side to side when fully extended ... Not sure I want to stand anywhere except in front or behind the bike, and would rather be in the next county!

Yes it made me a little neverous too. I guess if you would secure it to the floor it would be better, but still the bike could slip off and come crashing down on you.

That thing looks ridiculous! I cant even imagine working on any type of bike on that. Have you ever had a bolt come loose easily? imagine using the long handles on a stubborn bolt, anywhere on the bike, and its going to move! right off that thing, onto you and anyone standing nearby! this is what i use, i know its a bit much for most home shops but, oh boy, is it nice! the first pic is of a 04 flstf on the rack getting chrome front end put on, the second pic is my 10 year old, tyler, showing the fatboys owner how to do it! thats right, he can tear down forks, on his own!
