My dad is looking to borrow/rent a dual-sport motorcycle for the Flint Hills Stampede June 6-8. He is an experience licensed rider but doesn’t currently own a bike. I had so much fun on the ride last year (other than all of the rain) and have talked it up so much that he would like to attend. He would be interested in a bike in the 200 to 400 cc range with electric start. If anyone knows of how we can make this happen please let me know.

If you find a cheap loaner bike, that would be better I suppose, but if renting costs a few hundred, you might be better off buying this bike---I think the guy is ready to entertain OBO offers. Then sell the bike--if you buy it right, you won't lose any money.

Yeah I saw that, tempting, but my dad really isn't interested in purchasing a bike at this point he's turning 65 and will be spending his free time pursuing other things. And I have a little one at home so I can't swing two bikes right now.
