I've been interested in the Sikk trails bike since it came out, but I'm still waiting for someone to really step up and put it through it's paces before I was gonna go and drop $1500 on a play bike. So when I get bored I occasionally do a search on it and see whats out there.

Today I came across an interesting idea from an Aprilia forum of all places. (Not aprilia related)

This guy put in work, and it seems like the end result is pretty amazing. 80cc two stroke, 125 lbs, 8" of front travel, 10" of rear, with geometry like a downhill dirt bike.

Very cool, I like it. After picking up my 300lb pig I'm ready for one too.

As a mountain biker and a dual sport motorcylist ... that thing is awesome ... A trials bike for the trail!!!!!

And as a homemade bike, he could plate it (with lights and horn ... probably add 10 lbs).

Neat bike but what about that SHOP Now thats what I want!!! Oh the adventure bikes I could make out of that place.
