CABO FOR CAR SEATS
On September 11, I will embark on a 4,000+ mile motorcycle trip to raise money for Children’s Mercy Hospital. Each year, over $50,000 is needed to purchase car seats for kids as they are released to go home from the hospital. Unfortunately, not all families are in a position to have seats for their kids; often through no fault of their own.

Nowhere in the world do our precious children get better care than here at CMH. And the thought of them riding in vehicles without car seats just makes one shudder. So, the idea for the ride to Cabo San Lucas (on the very Southern tip of the Mexican Baja Peninsula) was to find a distant destination that with some luck, a cyclist could reach and return within a week. If I can make it to Tucson the first day, the trip should be a breeze. I’ll be using a Garmin Inreach so you can follow along if you’d like to.
