Back Roads to Plainville, KS

I rode to Plainville, Ks (north of Hays) to visit relatives on Saturday. I traveled along a ridge of hills between Hiway 24 and Hiway 18. It is mostly pasture land and I was surprised at how many minimum maintenance roads there were. Some of them were 4 to 5 miles long before I was back on a real maintained road. I stopped in Natoma and found a bar & grill that had a great hamburger and fries. Natoma has a main street and about six side streets. I stopped a local and asked him about some place to eat and he pointed out the bar and grill. He also pointed out that I was going the wrong way on a one-way street. I think it was the only one-way street in town. It was 118 miles from Concordia to Natoma and took about 3 1/2 hours counting side trips down dead end roads and photo stops. You can look at some of the pictures at my google site.
