Last week I had some trees planted. The crew that came out was led by a cool guy from Guatemala. He spotted my motorcycles in the garage and lit up. He spent the next 20 minutes telling me about his posse that rides most every Sunday and his "Enduro Kansas" Facebook site!

OR if you prefer in English

(I don't have a Facebook account so I can't actually see their stuff, but he showed me several photos and some crazy videos of failed hill climbs at Perry!)

He explained that they work 6 days a week with Sunday off, so they can't go very far. They meet 8am Sun morning and head off to either Perry or Deepwater (Clinton, MO). They hit the carwash on the way home, then off to bed for another 6 days of hard labor.

Their group has a mix of old dirt bikes, Honda 230s, and all kinds of quads. Sure looks like these guys have a great time out there!

He is also passionate about his home country. He told me about Guatemala and how beautiful it is--even pulling up photos on his smart phone. He explained that Antigua means antique or "old city". It used to be the capital before the volcano destroyed the city about 200 years ago. Cool guy!
