Speechless.. How is this guy not in jail?
Re: Speechless.. How is this guy not in jail?
The driver has been arrested...

Sadly, I've read too many comments justifying this driver's actions since the motorcycle was passing on a double yellow. Apparently, vigilante "justice" is fine according to some folks.

As I've seen story this pop up in other places, am a little disturbed by some of the comments as well. Everyone seems to be at the extremes with opinions these days on just about every subject.
Re: Speechless.. How is this guy not in jail?
Remember the data-set. Unencumbered by facts, my suspicion is that folks at the extremes are much more likely to comment. This skews the data-set so that it is not a correct representation of the general population.Jamee wrote:...As I've seen story this pop up in other places, am a little disturbed by some of the comments as well. This is much like a store counting complaints vs praise. People are 3x more likely to file a complaint than they are to take the time to report a praise. ("3x" is a "fact" I just made up, but you get the point) So you can't say 75% of my customers are complaining based on counting your complaints vs praises.
Statistics are like bikinis. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital.

I may need to go back and re-review those KTM forum posts...

OK you can't disappear from the site, then come back and throw that out there and not expect someone to ask questions.
What happened?

Ahhh, pre-mix!!
Re: Speechless.. How is this guy not in jail?
Work caused me to disappear for awhile, had to run some over the road miles as a team. Not fun, well more like hell to be honest, but insane income for a short time (hauled explosives and ammunition bits). All of this was to buy a new truck.. Long story on that, but anyway...Savage wrote:"Btw Troy - one titanium plate and 10 screws.. Surgery was because I broke my wrist.. I've got some pictures and a story am going to post up, but am waiting till am feeling better and feel like reliving it again. I'll toss up a posting on it in a few days. Had sent Troy a message about it, and when I posted the above was feeling pretty good (meds), should have thought more about not being so rude..
All is good though, nothing like some healing!
Looking forward to a good ride
