The first couple pictures are shortly after Troy delivered it to my place (he must of really wanted it out of his garage!

The first order of business is to replace the CS seal and o-ring.

I seriously beat the hell out of that bike, and Carl knows it. I gave him a pretty good deal, but he's got a lot of work ahead of him to get it back into good shape. That bike is a great bike, and I hope he gets a lot of great miles out of it. It was hard for me to let that one go.Savage wrote:Looks nice and clean!

Nice work on the counter-shaft seal! I'm glad to have sold it to a guy who is taking joy in getting her back in shape. I sent my 500 EXC suspension off to be rebuilt today. Was super easy to remove the forks and shock.
With the $6,000 you paid me for my 450, I have plenty of cash to rebuild the suspension on this 500. Plus I'll have plenty left over to buy hats.

I see Troy mentioned it above, but imho, 20psi is to much. I like to run my front at 14psi and my rear at 12psi. Congrats on the bike, looks like a keeper and a nice little project for the garage.
