Ride To Work Day - June 15th

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

Ride To Work Day - June 15th

Post by Scott_B »

Apparently this has been going on for 24 years, but for those like myself who aren't aware of the movement, more info at this link:

Since I have a 45 mile one-way commute, I'll probably bow out if the weather is questionable. Otherwise, hoping to see plenty of ADV/DS riders on the roadways.

Thanks for posting, Scott!

I took a trip down memory lane and found this post from 2012:

Then I dug further and found this gem from 2007!

I rode to work on the 15th and had no idea I was part of a movement.

On the 15th I had a meeting in SW Minnesota so decided to leave on Saturday to get there. I went through the beautiful Loess Hills of Iowa and then jumped in SD at Sioux City and followed the Sioux River to Sioux Falls. From Sioux Falls I went NE into MN and to Marshall, MN. Most of the trip was off black top.

If you have never ridden the Loess Hills you are missing some beautiful country. They start in Platte County, MO and go to just north of Sioux City.
