2015 Off Road Riding Course

In 2014 Engle's Motors and I worked to bring Bill Conger, a BMW certified motorcycle instructor, Michelin tire tester, Dakar Racer and all around good guy to do a two day off road motorcycle course at my place in Linn County, KS. That one two day course had so much interest a second two day course was offered. Because of last years response we are doing it again in 2015! It looks like one class, sponsored by McLiney Land And Cattle, has already filled without being advertised.

Engle's Motors is sponsoring a two day class held May 16 and 17. Here are links to the class:

I have taken his course twice at the BMW Performance Center. He knows how it ride and more importantly how to teach. It is a fantastic class. The maximum class size is 12 and there are two certified instructors. The class states "Off Road Foundations Level 1" but skill levels can benefit because of the one on one instruction.

Any bike is welcome but you will get more benefit with a 650 or larger bike because with a larger bike you have to get the technique down where on a small bike there is the ability to muscle it thought the obstacles.

I just wish it was a little cheaper. I know it's costly to bring those guys in, and I know it's probably not feasible. Thanks for hosting this year after year. Hopefully I can attend at some point.

My experience has been coaching/training is like buying gear, the expense pays off when you need to use it. Again from my experience, as far as motorbike classes go this one is a good deal.
