Rear Turn Signals/ Jetting -DRZ 400

So, after a fantastic trip to Arkansas with the TARKC group this weekend, I seem to have come up one rear turn signal short.... . I would like to replace the set with something a bit less prone to breaking off. Any suggestions? I would like to have turn signals but I would like to stop replacing them. Of course, some might say, "so stop dropping the bike" but that hasn't worked out for me thus far so I want to plan ahead :D

Also, anyone messed with jetting on a full system and found their favorite setting? I'm 25/160 on stock carb currently with a full FMF system. Thinking that 25/155 might be the way to go. I would like a bit more responsiveness on the throttle.

I ran 25/150 jets on my DRZ but I didn't have full exhaust. 160 still seems like it might be a little big.

For turn signals, I used Bikemaster brand. At $15 to $25 a set, you can afford to break one now and then. I went with their carbon fiber look and used the Universal Flush Mount Marker lights on the rear and Mini Stalks on the front.
It's a trade off...I never broke a flush mount marker off the rear but they are not very visible for street riding.

Thanks KC. I'm changing the jetting out tomorrow night and I'll check out the turn signals. I'm hoping to find something more visible but $15 in the interim isn't bad at all.

You can make cheap flexible blinkers by using muffler straps. http://www.delcity.net/store/Muffler-&- ... 804778.t_1

and I've been happy with the Mini Stalk blinkers.

I ran flush mount rear blinkers on my DS bikes. They have the advantage of being stock size vs. mini blinkers for good visibility. This keep the blinkers close to the bike frame with very little chance of breaking.

I really like these (http://www.extremedualsport.com/tuff_li ... ersal.html) but I simply can't justify the cost. Thanks for the input guys. For the moment I am going with the cheap short stalk ones until I develop a more effective long term solution!
