http://www.motorcyclecannonball.com/ Yeager's HD on 65, 4:30pm. Saw this on advrider.

Tomorrow, Thursday, is Junction City KS. Friday they work on their bikes there or sleep. I might just have to ride out there Thursday, with some detours into the Flint HIlls. Anyone interested in riding along I will be leaving Olathe at 10:30am or a tad earlier. Ride out 70 to just past Topeka and then off road to Junction City through the Flint Hills.

fyi - they will leave that dealership starting around 6:30 for the hotel. So the time to be there is from 4:30-7pm. A bunch of us road out to Sedalia yesterday, it was really cool even tho we didn't get there until 5:30. People from every continent riding old bikes. More than a few oil leaking harleys, and one or two that refused to kick over reminding me of the days with a '65 chopper. Always park on a hill if she's misbehaving! I will post pics later.

Well you can tell I am partial to twins. Note their "Dakar Rally" paper direction things. Pretty funny as those guys never get past 45mph. Some had gps on their bikes. That's funny too (I could be mean...ok, with tracks you can find those parts if you need to go back for'm to continue the race).

One of the leaders was saying he was doing 45-20-45-20 thru the hills of the Ozarks. He said he averaged about 35-40 since the start, putting him up front.

and some shots of those off brand bikes...

bike envy on of the guy from EU cleaning up the HD...he and his whole pit crew where from Sweden (or Germany?). The pressure pump on top of the tank allows the driver to pump oil to the heads when going up hill (or starts banging).

Asian driver & pit crew (Japan? China?). Nice well taken care of bike. Some HD, maybe 1912? IDK.

Ahhh so that explains all of the vintage bikes going past my house yesterday morning. I was taking the granddaughters to daycare when a number of vintage bikes went past the house. I stopped to watch them for awhile, they had a number of escorts wearing orange vests on newer HD's. Most of the riders on the vintage bikes were wearing vintage looking leathers - very cool to see. It was lightly raining at the time, hopefully they will have better weather on the rest of the trip. Thanks for posting the pics.
