I got my baby back, after selling it three years ago and regretting it everyday, my 2003 KLX 400 is back home.

That's cool! Where did it go and how did you get it back? How many miles she got now?

Only 800 miles ridden in the last three years. Josh bought a Triumph Tiger XC and has been spending his riding time on that bike. I don't blame him, it's a pretty nice bike.
The engine has been freshened up. I took the time to rebuild the carb, to resolve issues at the time when I sold it. Unfortunately the previous owner had the chain break which resulted in damage to the engine case. To fix it he found another set of cases, so the motor was gone through during the swap.

Just happened across it while drinking my coffee in the morning. I have been casually watching for another KLX/DRZ.

There is a certain comfort in a bike when you had a long history with it. When I sold it, I had it set up exactly how I wanted a KLX/DRZ. Saved me the time and expense to build up another bike.

That's some good luck! It feels great when you finally get your ride to fit you like a glove. And nuttin wrong with Kawi green.

.....as long as the Kaw green is only plastic deep, and a Suzuki is lurking underneath.

I do miss my DRZ............... sometimes. It was such a comfortable ride through the choppy stuff. All you had to do was point it, and blast it through. I didn't feel as abused after a rough section as I do on the WR. Honking through a flat corner full of marbles is a different story though. I have learned a few things since I sold mine, and I think the Zuki could be setup to do much better than mine did.

So are you bringing it to the Pie Ride?????" :D

I won't have it tagged by next weekend....but that might not stopped me from pulling the plate off the Husky! Maybe bring them both.

You have a better chance of getting a ticket for J-Walking than you do of getting in trouble out where we'll be riding.

Macwildcat, if you want to preride it before you go out west, you should come by my place sometimes. I cleared up the trail you tried out last time you were there... Same with you Savage, I just need to do a little bit more before I tried to organize a ride forum event there ;-)

Not near as cool as Kyle's. It is just a path in the pasture mainly

Hold on now....Kyle has the mini enduro cross track, but not much of an enduro trail. Luc has a mini enduro trail in the woods and pasture and a creek to hop in and out of. Fun!

It is different, maybe we'll organize a 2 day event, first day endurocross, second day enduro.... ;-)
