LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Douglas County authorities say a Missouri man died from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident near Lawrence.

County Sheriff's Lt. Steve Lewis says 61-year-old Randall Lusk of El Dorado Springs, Mo., died early Tuesday. He was injured Monday night in an accident on Kansas 59 just south of Baldwin City.

Lewis says deputies responding to reports of a motorcycle in the median found Lusk seriously injured. He was flown by air ambulance to an Overland Park hospital.

6News Lawrence reports (http://bit.ly/18Yk9d6 ) authorities are asking for anyone who was in the area of the accident to call the Douglas County Sheriff's office.

That's bad news. Randy was a first class guy to deal with. I never actually bought a bike from him, but stopped in a couple of times when in the area. Made me want to buy a Triumph just to give him the business. A well run place.
A coworker bought a Victory there and said it was exactly like I thought it would be.

Thoughts go out to the family and all who know him.
