Back from riding CO singletrack

8 of us rented a nice cabin in the Taylor Park, CO area and rode miles of excellent singletrack. (My brother, Kyle, and me along with 6 folks from the St. Louis area.) We came home with hundreds of photos and hours of video---around 200GB of media! So lots of video compilations to be produced over time, but here are a couple I quickly put together.

Make sure you change the videos to 720p HD to enjoy the full glory!

First, we were surprised to find a well-fed chipmunk at the top of American Flag Mountain way above the treeline. As it turns out, my brother, Kyle, is a chipmunk whisperer.

Here is one of my favorite sections of the trip. This was on a long and sometimes difficult singletrack section named Block & Tackle. Chadman has a great sense of humor and frequently started his failed attempts with "Watch me--I'll show you guys how to do it right!". In the last part of this video you see Kyle clean this difficult section despite the fact his bike was running like crap. He was the only one to make it up this obstacle clean. As usual, it's much worse, steeper, larger than it looks in video.

Nice timing! I've been torturing myself all morning at work watching Colorado videos on youtube and reading Colorado ride reports on advrider. (slow day at work  )

I've GOT to get out there one of these days for some riding!

Taylor Park is high on my list of places to go ride in CO (or anywhere else). Lots of trail: single track, ATV, 4WD. Looking forward to more photos and videos.
