It was my first time at Milford, I had a very nice time. Some places were kind of overgrown, but I loved the rocky trail that follows the lake and the up and downs on the other side!
I got to meet some of you out there, hopefully we'll get to meet there in the future again. Now that I live not too far from there, I should be able to make some of those rides out there.

Nice day at Milford!

Re: Nice day at Milford!
Good to meet you, Luc! I wish we could have done some riding together, but we were running a pretty conservative pace since it was meant to be a learning experience. Next time we'll get some riding in.
I agree with you on the overgrown thing. There's a lot of trails out there that would be fun, but they're ruined by being nearly impassable because of all the tree branches that are right at chest/helmet level. I wish I lived closer and could get out there more often and I'd spend some time doing some trimming. Maybe winter will help out when some of that stuff dies off.
All in all, we had a good day. I think Nick got a better idea of what he and his DRZ are capable of and I think he picked up some confidence as well. Hopefully, he can keep the ball rolling on our Arkansas trip this weekend.
