Colorado Ride Report

My son and I just got back from our annual week long trip riding in the Colorado mountains. Usually, we stay in the Taylor Lake area but this year stayed in Sergants which is about 1 1/2 hour from Taylor. Lots of single track to ourselves as we would normally go the whole day without seeing another rider. Great week as neither of us got hurt and I got to spend a week with my 22 year old son!

My son doesn't like me to stop long enough to take a picture but if you are interested here is a link to the few pictures that I took:

Cool stuff, I never knew about the jeep on Am Flag, is that recent? There's supposed to be a bunch of old wrecks along Agate Creek that didn't make one of the turns on Monarch.

After updating mapsource topo I finally rediscovered some stuff I'd done over ten years ago near Bonanza that I hope to revisit soon. :D

I think the jeep must have gone off this year as it wasn't there last year. There were a lot of car parts and tires around agate but I didn't notice any full vehicles....of course I will busy just trying to get myself through the trail that I didn't have much of a chance to look around. Couple years ago we rode, devils punchbowl, supposed to have the most jeep accidents in Colorado as we did notice several jeeps down in the bowl.
