KLX250S What do you think?

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

I've put a couple thousand miles on one over the last year and it's my favorite bike on the gravel around here. I'm 5' 10" and it's easy for me to get my leg over. I down sized from a DRZ 400 and feel much more confident on the KLX.......... but I miss the roll on first gear wheelie. It will pull 65 on the slab........... as long as the wind isn't too strong, or the hill too steep. If you are going up hill in the wind it's more like 55. Forks don't have rebound adjustment. Pretty straight forward and easy to work on.

I have yet to ride a KLX 250 but I think they're great bikes. Underappreciated, underpowered, undersprung, overweight, but lots of potential. I really like my 300.
Ahhh, pre-mix!!

I think I might have one for sale if you think you're interested!

We've been thinking about selling my wife's and doing something different, but haven't made our minds completely up. It makes a great dual sport, but we're struggling with the task of making it a more trail friendly bike for a less experienced rider.

When ridden by an experienced, confident rider that doesn't mind using the upper rpm range, it will scoot right along. With a less experienced, non-aggressive rider that lives in the lower rpm range it doesn't work quite as well.
