Big Dog's 200 Miles of Bad Road in the Mark Twain Forest

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

Big Dog's 200 Miles of Bad Road in the Mark Twain Forest

Post by troy »

Mark "Big Dog" Sampson of http://www.bigdogadventures.com is one of my moto-heroes. He's out there doing all the rides I wish I was doing. Here is one close to home that you'll enjoy.

I don't know Mark well, but it's obvious that riding is a major part of his life--not just a side interest. From what he's told me, I gather that his work is something that will sometimes leave him jobless for a month or more at a time. He plans and uses that time for riding. He has a nice fleet of bikes to pick from for his rides, too. :)

He's done Baja, Mexico to Canada in the Rockies, the TAT, and a lot more. I tend to pay attention when he recommends a machine, mod, or gear because I know he has put it to the test--more than I will.

Ozarks Fall Ride

Post by Stu »

Mark's ride looks great. BTW, there may be a KTMTalk ride this fall in that area.
