Big Springs riding area possible closing

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

All, this is short notice and I don't know how many of you have ridden at Big Springs, but it is in jeapordy of being closed. The link attached has some info without going into detail. There is a planning commision meeting Monday night April the 6th. If you happen to live in the Topeka area and could attend to help show your support that would be great. If not an e-mail to Barry Beagle as per the attached instructions would help. It's important to do what we can to keep our riding areas open.

Thanks for the help and ride safe.

I would add that if anyone would like to speak in favor of the area the commissioners will take responses (usually 1 minute limits) for the riding area's request for events and then those opposing it. There are two who are strongly opposed to any motorcycle activity on the land. I would predict that they will speak strongly in opposition.
