Help, Need rear KLR tire today or tomorrow

I have been so busy preparing for the Eureka Springs I never noticed the 2200 mile rear tire is near the tread wear indicators. Anybody have a spare they would sell me? I will be on the phone to the dealers in the morning, but for some reason I don't have high hopes. Right now I would like to replace it with the OEM tire to match the front then change them both to something different (maybe) when the front needs replaced. This is a Dunlop K750 130/80-17. Open to other suggestions. If I haul it down there it may be OK, but otherwise I would hate to blow a tire that far from home on a Sunday yet. What do you think? Man this tire did not last very long, I was shocked. Must be all those "Power Wheelies" I been pulling.

I have the dunlop off my bike if you want it. It should have a few hundred more miles left on it. Just tell me if you need it and I'll drop it by.

Carl, I don't have any 17 inch tires, however as mentioned in the Eureka Springs thread, I am Trailering down on Thursday, mid morning from Smithville. If you decide to haul, there is room on my trailer if that helps save some miles.
Or you are welcome to haul back if that helps.

I am working in Dallas this week and will be home Wednesday night.

I also seen you were concerned about what gear to take. Again, I have room for any extra gear, if that helps your ride down and back

Just let me know,

Thank you, thank you thank you! I got a used tire that is a little bit better than the one I have from TP-Cracker. I may put it on tomorrow if I can not find a new one. I thought about you as I was figuring out what to do. I really want to ride as it adds to the "adventure", but I don't want to be foolish. I will know by tomorrow night what I am doing. If you see a red KLR on the side of the road..........

Matt, looked at your tire. It was deader than mine, but thanks for the offer!

If you haven't replaced your tire I wouldn't worry about it then. Tom's tire looked just like that when we left for Canada and didn't look much worse after 2500 more miles.

Good Luck,

Matt
