First meeting will be held March 6, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Pizza Shoppe in Martin City at 135th and State Line (13612 Washington, KC MO 64145) Local Dakar participants will be featured speakers sharing their experiences and stories!

We are a new club that will be meeting the first Tuesday of every month for social gathering, including guest speakers. Our mission, in addition to meeting individuals with similar passion for motorcycling, is to be an advocate for the sport of off road and adventure riding.

I've got an '08 KTM 690E.

Good Luck with the new Adventure/Dual Sport club. I live just far enough away that attending a meeting on Tuesday evenings isn't practical for me. I hope you put together some weekend activities in the future.

Todd, Be great if you could make it....how is the new family member?

New little one is doing great 8 months old now. Sorry wont' be able to make it to the meeting taking a class on Tuesday nights through April 17th.

I will try to show up. It's a ways from home but shouldn't be too hard to sneak out early and get down there.

I definitely plan to attend. I'd love to hear the stories these guys have to tell. Thanks for setting this up!

Good meeting guys! We had a really good time. It was nice to meet more local riders and hear all about the Dakar race! Already looking forward to next months. It was surprising just how many people showed up. I can't wait for some group rides to start up.

Thanks again to Mike, Luis and Scott for taking the time to share their Dakar experiences with us!

Our next TAR meeting will be April 3rd, 7:00 at Pizza Shoppe, 13612 Washington Ave. After discussion with several of you, we've decided that rather than have a speaker in April, we will use the meeting to discuss the future direction of TAR, group rides and of course, social.

Several of you expressed an interest in the Arkansas 500 so I've pasted their webpage below. Both of us are riding but it would be great if we could take a group down there.
