I'm in the process of rebuilding the forks on my KTM. I was viewing the fork seal replacement video from Rocky Mtn. ATV, they mentioned using suspension grease on seals to aid assembly and seal life.
Since "suspension grease" isn't a common product I keep on hand, is there something else folks are using when assembling forks?
I think I used Vaseline on o-ring seals before... not sure if it's a good idea on fork seals.

Re: Fork assembly - suspension grease?
I just use a bit of regular grease. All the grease is supposed to do is prevent the seal from being torn when you put the tube back on the slider. Just put the slider on straight and slow with a bit of grease to facilitate assembly and you should be OK.
