Somebody revived that thread, it is like 5 years old, it was even before I had met you and Troy...
This remind me that i should probably go and dig up some pictures I only made it to 2006...

I noted the thread was old, but the star rating is based on new votes IIRC. After a certain length of time, old votes are discarded. So your thread has rec'd current votes!

Yes, one of my favorite rides also. A good gnarly mud ride is great every once and awhile. Good thing about Clay county is the sand content.... the mud doesn't clog up as bad.
I remember attempting to keep up with Luc on the way back to Manhattan. Got home and realized I had ridden miles on a flat tire! Those Karoos have one tough carcass.
