Ha! Well, if the weather ain't crap and my schedule and health allow and the bike is running, yeah, we'll ride every President's Day.

This is a subtle thing, and it's probably nothing to even consider, but....I definitely want it to be clear that this is not "Troy's Riding Forum". It's OUR riding forum---for anybody interested in dualsport riding. I hope more of you guys get creative with hosting rides.

When I host a ride, I really don't set out to "do a group ride". I just think, "Hey, I want to ride", and then I plan a little ride. Then I think "Hey, maybe some of my buddies want to join me on this ride"....and so I post the details. It just grows from there. Three people told me they were coming on the ride with a couple of maybes. We had 9 people at lunch! It just comes together like that---and I like it.

You don't have to do a lot of pre-planning. If you are gonna go ride--even with a few hours notice, and you wouldn't mind company, post up in the Ride forum. We have enough people around the area and we are growing. Chances are somebody will want to join you for a ride. :)
