If you are a member of the Backroads Touring Kansas community, you would have also received this message. I'm sharing it here with the RideForum.NET community. This looks like another great ride that group is putting together! I have put this on our Google Calendar that you can include in your personal calendars.

You are welcome to respond in this thread, but if you want to know more about this event or want to coordinate with folks, it probably make more sense to do so in the official thread over at Backroads Touring Kansas.

We're in to the swing of things with ride season now that all the spring rains have cleared out!

Coming up soon on July 13th & 14th we'll be meeting up in Council Grove for a Roundup!

There is no registration fee to attend this event!

The City of Council Grove has invited us to come and visit their town, and will be providing dinner on Saturday evening. Friday night is Ladies Night in Council Grove as well. Please take a moment to mark your attendance in the thread poll so that we can let the City know how many people will be attending.

Our ride format will be a team based Scavenger Hunt, and the teams with the most points will receive prizes after supper on Saturday evening.

Prizes donated by (in no particular order):

• Mid America Power Sports
• Cycle Gear of Wichita
• Dans Cycle
• B&B Cycle Restoration

Lodging in the area is available at several locations. The Prairie Lodge Motel is just on the east side of town.

Camping is available nearby at the Council Grove Lake at the Santa Fe Recreation Area.

Next week is the Roundup! I hope to see many of you there.

We'll be meeting at the BP station in down town Council Grove at Main & Union street. Kickstands up at 9AM, with dinner hosted for us at 6PM at the Cottage House Hotel if it's hot, or at an outside location if the weather is nice. Details will be available Saturday morning.

The Bound is now live, providing about a week to do route planning as you see fit.

There are 20 stages, and 33 locations in the hunt - don't expect to get every location! Part of the challenge is to pick your route and get the locations you can, then get back for dinner!
