McLouth, KS is about 20 minutes N of Lawrence. This might make for a fun dualsport ride out and back. However, I imagine the big pro guys run late in the day--maybe even after dark. I'm not much for riding after dark. (I'm a sissy.)

Dang Troy, you're getting old! Are you going to drive your minivan there and sit in the parking lot and listen to the rumble while catching up on your scrap booking?

Ks Fred and I went to it a couple years ago .....well worth the trip ....a fun event. Yes is does last well after dark. The year that I went they opened the pull by having a steam engine pull the sled....was pretty cool to watch the steam engine at work. I would be interested in going again ...but I will be going with Troy in the "mini van", no scrap booking for me though ,( will be watching the pull).
