Anybody going?

I'm thinking of hauling mine out there on the 9th.

For those that don't know, the annual Flint Hills Stampede is a dualsport/ADV ride event organized by the folks at BackroadsTouring.

The MRTA? group runs this and you get access to the 600 acres of woods there onsite. Camping. $10. The tracks from previous years are really good for the area. Even if you don't go, I would get those and ride them again just for fun.

The ride was good. I got to meet and ride with Greg from Emporia. The weather and roads were perfect! Wet and tacky, no dust. Afterwards we grilled dogs, chicken breasts, German sausage, had some drinks and sat around the camp fire. Awesome atmosphere.

Do you have a track of where you guys all went?

Sorry I don't have any tracks. There were some decent roads West of Kahola lake. I had other good roads I wanted to ride but we didn't get to them for obvious reasons.
