Mountain Bike Thread

I know quite a few of us cross over to other 2 wheeled contraptions. I do! I try to ride a few times a week either in KC and sometimes surrounding states, and it's time to start back up.

Our next ride is tomorrow. March 15 at 9 ish at Smithville.

Check out @kctrailsstatus on Twitter for trail status. If SMV is still closed tomorrow I think we will try Swope. I honestly doubt it will be dried out.

Very cool! When I chose the "RideForum.net" domain, it was purposeful that the name was not strictly motorcycle focused. I envisioned the possibility of sub-forums serving bicycle, atv, horse, etc. communities.

I have no specific plans or agenda, but like the potential.

We got in some "mountain" biking yesterday riding the river trails. It was the first time they've been on them on bikes.

I bought a Mountain Bike earlier this year, and would like to start hitting the trails this spring. It's been many years since my BMX days, but the few times I've been out so far, it's been a blast.

I'm only about 10 minutes from Landahl park, so if anyone ends up heading this way, hit me up.

Hey Scott, hit me up for mountain bike riding I bought a Trek Mamba 29er 12/13 and have ridden it twice since then up and down my subdivision street. What a joke! The local trails, and especially Landahl, close with any rain. Make sure to check, earthriders.com, before you head out to any trails.

If Landahl is open this Sunday, I hope to get out after church, probably about 11, if anyone is interested. Actually, I will be willing to ride whatever is open.

We rode Stocksdale sunday. I think we need to start a group text or something. I usually don't plan much ahead and just head out when I have a block of time. I rode again last night and made myself sick... I was having so much fun and my body eventually said . I need to get back in shape!!!

We are riding this weekend for sure! I think we will hit up WYCO. Not sure of specifics just yet.

Riding Switchgrass tomorrow if anyone is interested. Find us in the camp ground. I'd say shoot me a text but I don't know if I'll have signal, or I'll pretending that I don't. You will find 2 BMW 1200GS's at camp along with a white and red car. We will start early but ride most of the day.
