Weather permitting (highs in the upper 40's or above - no rain), my brother (jasbaum) and I are planning on heading down to Walters Ranch on Sunday, March 3rd. We've been down there twice now, and really enjoy the trails. The drive is about 2 hours from Blue Springs. In the past, we've hit the road by 08:00, which puts us on the trails between 10:30 and 11:00.
No facilities on site, but there is a convenience store about 3 miles away with a deli counter and restrooms. The daily cost is $10 per rider, which gives you access to about 1700 acres of trails.

Love Walters ranch!
You can get turned around very quickly!
Went 4 times last year, about 1:45 from my house.
You can make it rough or easy! Took my daughter one time with her baby 4 wheeler and did the easy trails.

Sounds good, weather permitting. Stu, what time would I have to pick you up to be down there at 10:00 AM. I could bring Chandler too if it isn't too tame for him.

Uh, dunno. Especially after snowmageddon, or snowcalypse. And more coming in Sunday night and Monday. Have to see how that plays out.

It looks like Sedalia got about 1 1/2 feet of snow. It will take some warming to get rid of that much. Topeka and Lawrence got about 1 foot. Perry is currently closed.
