I'm going to be leaving topeka at 5:30 to go to the motorcycle meetup in Lawrence at javabreak 7th and new hampshire at 6pm. If anyone would join me I would appreciate it. Looks like a cool destination for a Wednesday evening ride- looks like we're going to get nice weather for it.

I would but I am headed over to the HOAME (Heart of America motorcycle enthusiast) meeting at seven on Johnson drive. Y'all have fun though, should be great riding weather!

Is the HOAME meeting open to everyone? Or do you have to get a membership? I've never heard of them, but from the looks of their website it looks pretty cool.

It is open to anyone. It's a nice way to spend a Weds night once a month. Come on out. The food at Lucky Brew Grill is good, as is the beer . If you want to eat best show up a bit early though. Worst case: you ride out, eat good food, listen to people talk about motorcycles or some aspect of the motorcycle community, and then ride home. Not a bad way to spend an evening no matter how you spin it.

I went to my first meeting tonight it it a nice group. I'll go back sometime in the future.

It was nice meeting both Foster1 and Foster2 at the meeting.
