Oakland, Sunday, 3.6.11, high noon.

Oakland was almost perfect this afternoon, which means tomorrow it will be. A group of us are going down at 12:00 noon tomorrow. If you'd like to hone your single track skills, you're welcome to join in.

We pounded laps for 3.5 hours yesterday, had a good day. My son in law bought a new 250 XCW. We rode saturday for an hour and a half and I rode my '07 EXC450. That was a mistake trying to compete with a young kid on a 2T in the woods on the 450. We swapped back and forth some yesterday and I still like my 300 a bit better. I was real impressed how low the 250 would lug down. That is a very nice bike. He has an '02 YZ250 all setup for woods work for sale if you know of anyone in the market.

The Oakland ride went right by me. Alzheimers.

The 250 XC has had incredible reviews. I cannot see how one could go wrong with one of those. For me, however, my 300 still rocks. It is a keeper.
