ummmm. I can't promise NO mud but I don't think there should be any. Almost all of the routes stay on gravel and pavement with only a little dirt mixed in. I will run the route Friday and let you know whether I find any or not though...

I went to the meeting. It was a good time. Not as many people as the first meeting, but a good motorcycle social hour. I just added the short videos we took. I have to go back and clean up our routes a little so I don't know when those will show up. I want to add some waypoints to the tracks while I can still remember where things are.

So, it is the first Tuesday of the month. Is anyone aware of a second meeting for the TARKC group that met last month? I haven't heard anything.

Don't mind the spelling, grammar, and brief nature. I have a ton to do this week and just threw this ride report together in a few minutes. Ouachita National Forest was a blast. I am trying to plan as much as I can but I only have a few days left. I am hoping to have a general idea of the area and explore the Oklahoma section quite a bit. It is also practice for the hillbilly tour up in Ozark forest the next weekend!

Hey guys. I am looking for some GREAT dual sport routes in ouachita national forest in Oklahoma. I am going down very soon and I am trying to hit the highlights. I am going to have a basecamp at Robber's Cave State Park. I am trying to avoid really rough stuff but anything in between would be great....

Looks fun. Where was the fire? Hopefully it was a planned bonfire but it looks a little large for that.

I think it was the a combination of the dust, wind, fresh gravel, and more straight sections that made me less enthusiastic about the return. The ride was a blast either way!

Chris- We will have to give that route a try. Looks like it would be fun.
