My buddy Terry and I went on our KTM's. I would bet we had the only two dualsport bikes there, and I'm sure I didn't see any other KTM's. I even got a photo of my bike with a cute model lying across it. :wink: Anyway, it was a great time. Got to see a bike do under 8 seconds in the 1/4 mile at near...

I would say that I'm 95% in and might consider staying at the Byrds. I would also do the more aggresive ATV trails. Remember if you stay at Byrds bring your own water and the stream is great for cooling off after the rides. Plus the locals are a value added entertainment!

I don't think you'll need to do much convincing to get race stuff opened up near the airport. These guys have done all the hard work for you already. I was looking at my schedule and was wondering if this ride is still on given that Mo Riding has been called up to defend our country

I hope work doesn't interfer with this because it is at the end of the fiscal year.

I have done the first two Stampedes, but this year I don't plan on making it. This is a great place to meet other riders and to see some great country. As Forest Gump said "That's all I have to say about that".

Last time I was on box turtle there was a Yugo that slowed everyone down.

I would suggest taking a bandana along with you and at the first restroom break you can put it on if needed. Spacing really helps and I have been on some rides where you can't see the guy in front of you until the next corner. That is if they wait on you at the corner.... Also, don't forget to clean...
